The Sap Runners – Bob and Kay Bloomer 

Join Jaime as she explores Bob and Kay Bloomers beautiful Northwoods retreat in Shawano County. Complete with a hunting cabin and maple syrup operation and even a really cool custom cedar sauna made out of telephone poles from the 1920’s.

We were invited to take part in the sapping and watch the cooking-down process first hand. An operation local Business Owner Bob Bloomer has perfected and tweaked over the years. Bob clearly has a wealth of knowledge on the subject of maple syrup and his passion shows.

The products of “Sap Runners” maple syrup can be purchased at Tadycs in Clintonville and Lark’s Country Store between Bonduel and Shawano. You can find the time tested maple syrup as well as a new (and very delicious) Bourbon Barrel infused Syrup.
